We all strive to make meaningful connections with other people. The best way is through shared experiences which is why seeing live music, sports events, or a play is so common and sought-after activities. When we experience the world at large, it is an immersive experience and two people standing next to each other may have very different experiences.
Think of being inside a glass sphere with hundreds of windows in all directions. Which one do you choose to look through? What you see is also clouded by how you feel. Personal experiences and emotions change the color of some windows that make the view different. Some windows could have bubbles and distortions.
Sharing photos and videos is my way of trying to get a closer experience by trying to look through the same window if we are standing next to each other or even if we are far apart.
Today this is an adventure and a passion, maybe tomorrow it will be different.
